UHSM: Maternity Ward

TYPOCOM were commissioned by the University Hospital of South Manchester to create a permanent installation for the Maternity Centre's newly refurbished water-birth suits.
The task was to inform mums-to-be about the benefits of a water-birth, but the space we had to work in was very restricted with lots of breaks and turns in the wall.
Our solution was to combine informative and calming messages about water-births with breathtaking underwater photography of babies. The display wraps seamlessly around doors and corners along the entire length of the corridor, to create a captivating and enchanting environment.
